Rotaplast International, Inc. is committed to helping children and families worldwide by eliminating the burden of cleft lip and/or palate, burn scarring, and other deformities. Working with local professionals, Rotarians, and other organizations, Rotaplast sends multidisciplinary medical teams to provide free reconstructive surgery, ancillary treatment, and training for the comprehensive care of these children. Rotaplast supports education and research towards prevention of cleft lip and/or palate. Our aim is to help local professionals build sustainable models for the care of these children, improving their lives and those of their families.
One of our rotarians, Dr. Larry Stone has participated in missions in Barquisimeto, Venezuela (2008) and Retalhuleu, Guatemala (2011). These experiences have had a profound effect on his life as well as obviously for the beneficiaries of these surgeries.

Rotaplast International ( See www.Rotaplast.org )  is a Rotary affiliated organization started almost 30 years ago by Dr. Angelo Capozzi and Peter Lagarias. It’s mission is to provide cleft lip and palate surgeries to victims of this hereditary disorder in developing countries throughout the world.

Funded by the generous donations and sponsorship of individuals and organizations such as the Warrington Rotary Club, Rotaplast missions are generally 2 week trips during which approximately 100 patients are typically treated.  Hosted by local Rotary Clubs, groups of about 30 surgeons, nurses, dentists, and other volunteers provide this care free to needy individuals.
