Visiting Rotarian Bill Tuszynski presented information about the humanitarian aid program known as ShelterBox. It is a charity that hand-delivers aid to families devastated by conflict or natural disaster, to give them safe shelter and the tools to rebuild communities. Worldwide disaster areas in Chad, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Phillipines, Syria and many others have been served by delivery of thousands of ShelterBoxes containing the essentials families need to begin rebuilding their lives after disaster.
ShelterBox funding includes donations from Rotary International and an annual donation by Warrington Rotary.
